Exploring Brno

Kebabs and Ice cream in the center

On Monday some of our Czech friends took us downtown to see the city center.  We enjoyed eating kebabs and getting some ice cream. Noah opened his bottle of water and realized quickly he didn't like carbonated water.
Noah made us laugh quite a bit in that kebab restaurant. Our Czech friends were so kind to show us all the main sites. It is important anywhere you live that you get to know your city. Through the things we learn God can use it to teach how to most effectively reach the people where you live. Being able to see the city along with its architecture and learn some of its history was amazing. God is doing great things in this city, but there is still much work to be done here. We enjoyed hiking to the top of the castle Špilberk (shpil-bairk) which overlooks the city. From the top you can see many beautiful views of the city.
