SUNDAY WORSHIP IN BRNO
We arrived to Prague on Friday morning and stored our luggage at the hotel and explored the sites of Czech Republic's capital city. We covered a lot of ground Friday and Saturday and then headed to Brno.
On Sunday morning we attended Brno Baptist Church. Even though we live in different countries and we speak different languages, we are unified as one family in Christ. It was a joy to reunite with our brothers and sisters and worship with them.
After lunch we worked together to finish the final preparations for English camp. Taylor Road joins another church, First Baptist Church of Plant City, to teach English this week. While the strong men were assembling the tents the ladies finalized their plans for our daily English lessons - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
In 2017 Jennifer and Stephen started a small bible study prayer group in their home. In 2021, Runway Bystrc ministry center was opened. In that small original building where we do English camp, we held twice a month worship services. Since 2021, regular ongoing ministry activities have taken place in addition to summer English camp. God began to help Stephen and the leadership of Runway dream about what the future may look like when the ministry center would be too small. A restaurant nearby closed, and became available for purchase. Thank you to God's blessing and provision the church was able to purchase and renovate this restaurant into a new and larger worship space where they are beginning to do worship every week.
Sunday evening after we finished everything for the start of camp, we were able to worship with this young church plant and their new space called Runway Hub. During the week they open the Hub as a coffee shop and hold their worship services there on Sunday evenings. It brings such great joy and excitement to our hearts to see what God has done in this church plant. The video gives a glimpse of our time of worship. It was also a special time together as we observed the Lord's Supper and remembered the sacrifice that Jesus made on our behalf so that we experience a relationship with Him as He intended.
